Factory Manager – Composites (Bahrain)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Factory/Plant Manager to lead our specialist manufacturing facility in Bahrain that produces advanced reinforcement materials for the global composites industry. The role combines hands‑on shop‑floor leadership with customer‑facing technical support and product development responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead production operations and drive overall plant performance.
• Oversee maintenance, reliability and equipment uptime.
• Manage quality systems and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Control warehouse and inventory processes.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Develop, mentor and succession‑plan the multidisciplinary workforce.
• Conduct product development trials and optimise manufacturing processes.
• Provide technical support to customers and resolve engineering issues.
• Support future growth, new investments and product introductions.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a manufacturing plant or production facility.
• Responsibility for production, maintenance, quality and warehousing functions.
• Strong understanding of reinforcement materials and their use in composite manufacturing (essential).
• Experience supporting product development, trials and process improvements.
• Knowledge of composite processes such as pultrusion, RTM, resin infusion or related closed‑mould technologies (essential).
• Track record of driving operational excellence, waste reduction and continuous improvement.
