Flutter Mobile Developer

About the role

A growing technology company is looking for a Flutter Developer to build high-quality mobile applications for users across the GCC. You will work closely with product, design and backend teams throughout the development lifecycle, from defining features to releasing and maintaining applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cross-platform iOS and Android applications using Flutter and Dart.
• Integrate REST APIs and third-party services, including payment solutions, maps and push notifications.
• Implement consistent state management using approaches such as Bloc, Riverpod or Provider.
• Write clean, maintainable code using appropriate architecture patterns and reusable components.
• Develop unit, widget and integration tests to validate functionality and prevent regressions.
• Troubleshoot defects and optimise application performance, stability and size.
• Collaborate with backend teams on API requirements, authentication, error handling and data synchronisation.
• Manage app signing, builds and releases through the App Store and Google Play, supported by CI/CD pipelines.
• Apply secure coding practices to protect personal and financial data.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning and technical discussions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of mobile development experience.
• Experience contributing to at least two published mobile applications, with the ability to explain your technical contributions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Good communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of Flutter widgets, layouts, navigation, asynchronous programming and the application lifecycle.
• State management with Bloc, Riverpod, Provider or a comparable approach.
• REST APIs, JSON handling and Firebase services.
• Mobile architecture patterns, separation of concerns and dependency injection.
• Automated testing, debugging and performance profiling tools.
• Git and CI/CD tools such as Codemagic, GitHub Actions or Bitrise.
• App Store and Google Play submission and release processes.
• Nice to have: native iOS or Android development with Swift or Kotlin, Arabic-language apps with RTL support, and offline functionality and local storage.
