FMCG Sales Manager - Modern Trade

About the role

The FMCG Sales Manager – Modern Trade will lead the execution of account business plans, promotions and sales activities across the Modern Trade channel, driving volume, revenue, market share and profitability for a leading beverage portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and execute Account Business Plans, promotions and sales initiatives to meet or exceed targets.
• Develop customer business plans using Cost‑effective Customer Development Agreements, in‑store programs, merchandising initiatives and AOP roll‑outs.
• Lead and manage the Modern Trade field team to ensure effective sales execution, maximise performance and strengthen market presence.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers at all organisational levels and ensure timely collections in line with credit policy.

Required profile

• University graduate with strong computer literacy (MS Office/Windows applications).
• Excellent English and Hindi communication skills and no travel restrictions.
• 5–7 years of sales field experience within an FMCG company, with strong commercial awareness.
• Proven ability to operationalise business strategies, achieve KPIs and develop selling tools.
• Excellent negotiation, relationship‑building and influencing abilities.
