Food Factory Operative & Steel Fixer

About the role

The position is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Manama. It combines daily food‑factory operations with steel‑fixing tasks, supporting the company’s production line while ensuring structural reinforcement work is carried out safely.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor food‑processing equipment, assist with packaging, labeling and cleaning.
• Maintain hygiene and food‑safety standards on the production floor.
• Cut, bend and position iron and steel reinforcement, set up structures for construction or equipment support.
• Perform basic welding and use rigging equipment to lift and move steel components.
• Conduct routine checks of tools and safety gear, including fall‑protection systems.
• Follow company safety procedures and collaborate with supervisors to meet production targets.

Required profile

• Ability to safely use power tools and basic welding equipment.
• Familiarity with fall‑protection practices and personal protective equipment.
• Understanding of rigging techniques for safe material handling.
• Previous experience in a food‑factory, industrial or construction environment is an advantage.
• Physical capability to lift, stand for long periods and perform manual labour.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability and ability to follow SOPs.
