Founding Orthodontics Faculty Member

About the role

Dr. Hala Alsayed Health Training Center is seeking a highly motivated founding faculty member in Orthodontics. You will play a pivotal role in establishing and leading the centre’s orthodontic education portfolio, shaping curricula, delivering clinical training, and supporting research.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a founding member of the Orthodontics Faculty and contribute to strategic growth of dental education programmes.
• Design, develop and deliver undergraduate, postgraduate and CPD orthodontic courses.
• Deliver lectures, seminars, workshops, case‑based discussions and hands‑on clinical training.
• Supervise learners in clinical and simulated environments and develop competency‑based assessments, OSCEs and examinations.
• Mentor students and healthcare professionals, ensuring teaching aligns with evidence‑based practice and international standards.
• Participate in curriculum review, programme validation, accreditation activities and quality‑assurance processes.
• Support research, publications, conference presentations and scholarly activities.
• Represent the centre at national and international academic and professional events.

Required profile

• BDS/DDS or equivalent dental qualification.
• Membership in Orthodontics (MOrth RCSEd) strongly preferred.
• Eligibility for specialist registration and professional practice.
• Demonstrated clinical expertise in orthodontic diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Previous teaching or clinical supervision experience in orthodontics.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Commitment to evidence‑based practice and lifelong learning.
