General Manager - Gulf Joint Venture

About the role

Pramac, a Generac Company, is looking for a General Manager to lead its joint venture with A. Juffali & Brothers in the Gulf region. Reporting directly to the Regional General Manager for APAC & Middle East, the General Manager is accountable for business development, sales operations and the industrial and financial performance of the local manufacturing operations, with a focus on expanding the business in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the commercial strategy for Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, focusing on market growth and customer acquisition
• Build, lead and develop the local sales organisation and channel partner network
• Position the "Made in Saudi" product portfolio and integrate imported solutions into a unified commercial offering
• Lead the setup and operational management of the Bahrain manufacturing facility, ensuring compliance with quality, safety and efficiency standards
• Manage full profit and loss responsibility across sales and production operations
• Work with R&D, supply chain and quality teams to align production capacity with market demand
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across the business

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management or a related field
• Proven experience in business development, sales management and operational leadership in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage P&L and complex business operations

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of the power generation industry, including diesel and gas generator sets
• Preferred: solid understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems and regulatory compliance
• Preferred: entrepreneurial mindset and ability to build and scale organisations
