Head of Corporate Banking

About the role

The Head of Corporate Banking will shape and execute the bank's corporate banking strategy, driving growth, profitability and portfolio expansion across Bahrain.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive corporate banking strategy.
• Lead client relationship management and business development, delivering tailored financial solutions.
• Oversee credit assessment, risk management, regulatory compliance and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Manage, mentor and develop the corporate banking team.
• Report performance, market trends and strategic initiatives to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of banking experience, including at least 10 years in corporate banking or senior leadership.
• Proven track record in corporate finance, portfolio management and business development.
• Strong understanding of credit risk, lending products and regulatory compliance.
• Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking and stakeholder management abilities.
