HR Lead / General Manager / Office Manager

About the role

Gametraq is seeking an experienced HR Lead to drive end‑to‑end people operations for its growing sports events business. This full‑time, remote position will shape HR strategy, ensure compliance, and foster a high‑performing, engaged workforce across both remote and on‑site teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive HR policies and procedures.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning initiatives.
• Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management cycles.
• Develop and deliver learning and development programs aligned with business goals.
• Ensure compliance with labor regulations and maintain accurate HR documentation and systems.
• Partner with leadership to build scalable HR frameworks and support change management as the company expands into new sporting verticals.
• Drive culture‑building and employee engagement initiatives for remote and on‑ground teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR management and end‑to‑end people operations.
• Expertise in HR policy design, implementation, and workforce capability building.
• Strong employee‑relations skills, including conflict resolution and engagement.
• Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder‑management abilities in a fast‑paced remote environment.
• Background in a growing startup, preferably within sports, events, or related industries.
• Familiarity with local labor laws and compliance requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certifications are a plus.
