Investment Director – Relocation to Dubai

About the role

We are a Dubai‑based investment firm seeking an experienced Investment Director to lead research and manage the end‑to‑end investment process. The role starts remotely with a planned relocation to Dubai, offering high autonomy and the chance to shape our portfolio across multiple strategies and geographies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead investment due diligence: source, screen, and evaluate opportunities, assess performance, risk metrics, and team capabilities.
• Coordinate the due‑diligence lifecycle: work with internal teams, maintain trackers, and produce comprehensive investment memoranda for senior leadership.
• Conduct macro research and market analysis: monitor macroeconomic data, central‑bank policy, and geopolitical developments to inform portfolio positioning.
• Maintain regular contact with managers to track strategy evolution, performance attribution, and organizational stability.

Required profile

• 8 to 12 years of professional experience in investment management, research, portfolio management, or institutional allocation.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Finance, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
• Deep understanding of financial markets and complex instruments.
• Exceptional research, written communication, and project‑coordination abilities.

Required skills

• Python for investment analysis and portfolio management.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg and other industry‑standard investment tools.
