Investment Director – Remote

About the role

We are seeking an Investment Director to lead investment research and manage the end‑to‑end due‑diligence process for a Dubai‑based investment firm with a global, remote workforce. The role combines deep market knowledge with operational rigor to enhance research capabilities and drive analytical excellence across the investment division.

Key responsibilities

• Lead due‑diligence by sourcing, screening and evaluating investment opportunities across multiple strategies and geographies.
• Analyze performance, risk metrics, investment processes and team capabilities, maintaining regular contact with managers.
• Coordinate the full due‑diligence lifecycle, maintain trackers, and produce comprehensive investment memoranda for senior leadership.
• Monitor macroeconomic data, central bank policies and geopolitical developments to assess market implications.
• Develop scenario analyses, identify key trends and deliver actionable insights and briefs to senior leadership.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of experience in investment management, research, portfolio management or institutional allocation.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Finance, Mathematics, Physics or a related quantitative field.
• Deep understanding of financial markets and complex financial instruments.
• Strong written communication and project coordination skills in multi‑stakeholder environments.

Required skills

• Python programming for investment analysis and portfolio management.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg and other industry‑standard investment tools.
• Experience with data analysis tools such as R or SQL (preferred).
