Investment Director – Remote

About the role

RGG Capital is seeking an Investment Director to lead research and manage the full investment lifecycle for its global portfolio. This remote, high‑autonomy position works closely with senior leadership to enhance research capabilities, optimise portfolio operations and drive analytical excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead due‑diligence on investment opportunities across strategies and geographies, evaluating performance, risk metrics and team capabilities.
• Coordinate the end‑to‑end due‑diligence process, maintain trackers, and produce comprehensive investment memoranda for senior leadership.
• Conduct macroeconomic and market analysis, monitor central‑bank policy and geopolitical developments, and translate insights into actionable portfolio recommendations.
• Maintain regular contact with fund managers to assess strategy evolution and organisational stability.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of experience in investment management, research, portfolio management or institutional allocation.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Finance, Mathematics, Physics or a related quantitative field.
• Deep understanding of financial markets and complex instruments.
• Strong written communication and project‑management skills in multi‑stakeholder environments.

Required skills

• Python programming for investment analysis and portfolio management.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg and other industry‑standard investment tools.
• Familiarity with additional programming languages such as R or SQL (preferred).
