Joinery Draughtsperson – Technical Drawing Specialist

About the role

The Joinery Draughtsperson will create detailed technical and shop drawings for bespoke joinery and fit‑out projects, ensuring accuracy and feasibility for manufacturing and installation.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret architectural and interior design plans to develop precise joinery details.
• Produce shop drawings, cutting lists and material specifications using CAD software.
• Coordinate with production, site and project teams to align drawings with project requirements.
• Verify measurements on‑site when required and update drawings based on client or consultant feedback.
• Maintain organized drawing registers and documentation of revisions.

Required profile

• Strong technical drafting ability with proven experience in CAD (AutoCAD preferred).
• Good understanding of joinery construction methods, materials (solid wood, veneers, MDF, hardware) and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and interior design drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail, dimensional accuracy and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork with designers, engineers, production staff and site supervisors.
• Relevant technical diploma or degree in drafting, architecture, interior design, or equivalent practical experience.
• Willingness to work full‑time on‑site in Capital Governorate, Bahrain and adapt to project schedules.
