About the role

Trader Vic's Bahrain is seeking passionate culinary talent to join its kitchen brigade. Whether you are an experienced sous chef or an aspiring commis, you will contribute to delivering the high‑standard dining experience the brand is known for.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present dishes in line with Trader Vic's recipes and brand guidelines.
• Maintain consistent food quality, presentation, and portion control.
• Ensure strict compliance with food safety, hygiene and sanitation regulations.
• Support efficient kitchen flow, handling high‑volume service with speed and accuracy.
• Store, rotate and handle food products following HACCP and FIFO principles.
• Minimise waste through effective stock management.
• Collaborate with fellow team members to keep the work area clean, organised and safe.

Required profile

• Previous experience in upscale, luxury or premium casual dining environments.
• Strong knowledge of professional cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
• Understanding of food safety standards, HACCP, hygiene and sanitation.
• Ability to work under pressure in a high‑volume setting.
• Professional attitude, reliability and a strong work ethic.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
