Manager – Cyber Security

About the role

Zain Bahrain is looking for a Manager – Cyber Security within its Technology division. The role is responsible for planning, organizing and managing staff and overall operations so that the organization's Cyber Security runs stably, including developing, maintaining, supporting and optimizing key functional areas.

Key responsibilities

• Set Cyber Security unit performance objectives and continuously monitor progress toward organizational and unit strategic objectives, reporting periodically and recommending improvements.
• Develop and implement Cyber Security unit policies and procedures that meet organizational requirements while delivering high-quality services.
• Run the day-to-day operations of the Cyber Security Unit, coach new and existing team members on technical and soft skills, and provide training and technical support to users of varying knowledge levels.
• Ensure service quality against established KPIs, availability and reliability aligned with SLA and QoS.
• Manage and improve an integrated cyber security solution protecting core infrastructure, networks and applications, and manage IT and security projects from procurement to testing and development.
• Establish and manage the enterprise IT security policy, evaluate infrastructure and security proposals and recommend suitable solutions.
• Identify customer requirements, exceed expectations and act proactively to ensure customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, IT, cyber security, communication engineering or a related field.
• 8 to 10 years of experience in the same area within the telecom field.
• Solid technical experience in security.
