Marine Technician

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Marine Technician to join our team in Bahrain on a full‑time, on‑site basis. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing boats and marine vessels to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and scheduled maintenance on marine vessels, including inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.
• Service motors, propulsion systems, and related mechanical components.
• Conduct electrical diagnostics, work on wiring, and maintain marine electrical systems.
• Assist with vessel refits, upgrades, and component replacements.
• Maintain accurate service records, reports, and work orders.
• Collaborate with supervisors, fellow technicians, and clients to prioritize tasks and adhere to safety standards.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or certification in marine engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and experience working in a multicultural team.
• Previous experience as a marine technician or in a similar maritime role is an advantage.
