Operations Manager – Card Operations & Risk

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead our end‑to‑end card operations lifecycle. The role will combine operational excellence, compliance, risk management and process optimisation across issuing, acquiring and fraud functions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide subject‑matter expertise across all card‑operations functions.
• Oversee card issuing and acquiring processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
• Manage fraud operations, including monitoring, investigation and prevention initiatives.
• Handle chargeback and dispute management in line with scheme regulations.
• Support and optimise global payments operations and associated payment flows.
• Ensure adherence to Visa and Mastercard scheme rules and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor operational risk, reconciliation activities and exception handling.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities and implement best practices.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors and scheme partners to drive efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in card operations, payments or related fintech environments.
• Relevant industry certifications in payments, cards, fraud or risk management are a plus.
• Experience working with banking, fintech or payment‑service organisations.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Visa and Mastercard scheme regulations.
