Planner – Project Scheduling for Joinery & Furniture Manufacturing

About the role

The Planner will support the planning and scheduling of joinery and furniture manufacturing projects, ensuring timelines are realistic and deadlines are met. Working closely with Setting‑Out, Procurement, Production, Logistics and external clients, the role helps keep projects on track from inception to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing detailed project timelines and schedules, identifying critical path activities and potential bottlenecks.
• Create baseline schedules, dashboards and tracking reports to monitor progress.
• Act as a liaison between Setting‑Out, Procurement, Production, Logistics, Project Management and external parties, facilitating clear communication.
• Support material and resource management by coordinating with the Material Engineer and Procurement team, tracking orders and delivery dates.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management review and help resolve coordination issues.
• Contribute to process improvements by providing operational support and suggesting procedural innovations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture or Interior Design.
• 3‑5 years of experience in project planning, scheduling and operations within manufacturing or construction/fit‑out environments.
• Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and understand proper project sequencing.

Required skills

• Experience with Primavera P6.
• Experience with Microsoft Project.
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) and baseline schedule updates.
• Ability to create dashboards and weekly/monthly progress reports.
