About the role
The Planner will support the planning and scheduling of joinery and furniture manufacturing projects, ensuring timelines are realistic and deadlines are met. Working closely with Setting‑Out, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics and external clients, the role helps keep projects on track and resources aligned.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in developing detailed project timelines and schedules from start to delivery.
- Identify critical path activities, dependencies and potential bottlenecks.
- Create baseline schedules, dashboards and tracking reports to monitor progress.
- Act as a liaison between Setting‑Out, Procurement, Production, Logistics, Project Management and external parties.
- Support material and resource management by coordinating with the Material Engineer and Procurement team.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management review.
- Track production progress and help resolve coordination issues.
- Contribute to process improvements and propose operational innovations.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture or Interior Design.
- 3‑5 years of experience in project planning, scheduling and operations within manufacturing or construction/fit‑out.
- Experience with extensions of time, baseline schedules, earned value management and reporting.
