Project Support Controller – 1 Year Contract

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Support Controller to join our project team in Bahrain. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be engaged in the end‑to‑end project control process and support the wider Projects support team based in the UK. This key role ensures efficient SRT project implementation in Indonesia.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver project controls using consistent processes, governance and guidance for the in‑country project team.
• Apply best‑practice scheduling techniques, optimise schedules, resolve conflicts and maintain project plans, tracking dependencies.
• Monitor and report on project progress, manage day‑to‑day accounting activities and prepare financial forecasts.
• Collate financial and management reports, dashboards and performance analysis.
• Support project audits and ensure compliance with contractual milestones and payment applications.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including actions, issues, risks and checklists.
• Raise purchase orders for project expenditure and track them through the financial reporting process.

Required profile

• Professional level of English, both spoken and written.
• Degree‑level education or relevant professional qualification.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role within a construction or civil‑engineering environment.
• Advanced user of MS Project, SharePoint and the MS Office suite.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and finance/controlling processes.
• Ability to communicate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
