Projects Manager – Fit‑out & Construction

About the role

The Projects Manager will lead fast‑track fit‑out projects for retail stores, food & beverage outlets, hotels and commercial offices. Working independently, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering multiple projects on time, within budget and to the required quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Convert tender programmes into detailed construction schedules, defining procurement needs and client meeting calendars.
• Set project objectives, scope, budgets, and allocate internal resources such as QA/QC, Health & Safety and MEP management.
• Select and vet subcontractors, negotiate packages and ensure adequate labour, equipment and materials.
• Attend site meetings as the company representative, approve interim payments and valuations, and liaise with in‑house departments.
• Oversee construction sites, monitor progress, maintain accurate records and report weekly to senior management.
• Ensure health and safety compliance, manage vendor and trade subcontractor performance, and drive rectification works on time and on budget.
• Prepare and hand over Operations & Maintenance manuals and manage project close‑out in line with contractual obligations.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years total experience in fit‑out contracting, with at least 7‑8 years in the Middle East.
• Strong technical, execution and commercial abilities, especially in woodworking, joinery and timber manufacturing practices.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams and manage large‑scale construction projects.
