QA/QC Associate Manager

About the role

The QA/QC Associate Manager leads the quality assurance and control functions across production and project activities, ensuring compliance with corporate standards, project specifications and industry regulations. This role develops, implements and maintains quality systems, driving continuous improvement and fostering a culture of quality throughout the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain corporate QA procedures and QC processes aligned with ISO 9001 and FSC standards.
• Prepare written procedures for production QC and corporate QA.
• Implement digital systems for quality tracking and reporting, such as dashboards and barcode systems.
• Oversee incoming material inspections, in‑process checks and final product audits across Joinery, Metal, Polishing and Packaging departments.
• Control non‑conforming products and initiate corrective actions in coordination with relevant managers.
• Maintain quality records, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), checklists and method statements according to the Project Quality Management Plan.
• Lead monthly operation meetings to discuss trends, improvement recommendations and launch initiatives.
• Prepare audit reports and monitor the effectiveness of quality procedures.
• Lead the QA/QC team, coordinating with project managers, site engineers and subcontractors.
• Implement training programmes to enhance quality awareness and develop future leaders.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• 8–10 years of QA/QC experience in manufacturing or fit‑out projects.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, FSC and related industry standards.
• Proven ability to lead teams, communicate effectively and solve problems.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Understanding of FSC certification requirements.
• Experience using digital quality tracking tools such as dashboards and barcode systems.
• Ability to generate and analyse quality reporting data.
