Retained Recruiter / Marketing Retainer Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a strategic, client‑focused professional to deliver ongoing recruitment, talent advisory, marketing and business support services on a retained basis. The role centres on building long‑term relationships, understanding organisational needs and providing tailored solutions that drive talent acquisition and employer branding success.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture long‑term relationships with retained clients and key stakeholders.
• Analyse client workforce requirements, business priorities and service expectations.
• Design and implement customised recruitment and marketing strategies.
• Manage talent sourcing, candidate screening, pipeline development and ongoing recruitment activities.
• Conduct market research on talent trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities.
• Support employer branding, recruitment marketing content and candidate engagement initiatives.
• Coordinate marketing campaigns, digital communications and client‑facing materials as needed.
• Monitor performance using KPIs, prepare regular client reports and strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate with internal recruitment, marketing, HR, sales and operations teams.
• Identify improvement opportunities and ensure confidential handling of all data.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Management or a related field.
• Strong understanding of recruitment, talent acquisition, client relationship management and marketing principles.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Proven ability to translate client requirements into practical solutions.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
