Sales Executive / Customer Service Associate – Retail (Bahrain)

About the role

The Customer Service Associate / Sales Executive will join Al-Futtaim Group’s retail team in Bahrain, delivering high‑quality service to shoppers while supporting store operations and sales targets. You will be the front‑line contact for customers, handling inquiries, complaints, and transactions in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide assistance, and resolve basic complaints, escalating when necessary.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and keep the sales floor clean and inviting.
• Receive shipments, restock shelves, and manage inventory to ensure product availability.
• Recommend products through upselling and cross‑selling, staying informed on product details.
• Operate the cash register, process payments accurately, and keep the checkout area organized.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a customer‑facing role, preferably in retail.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain store standards.
• Comfort with handling cash and operating point‑of‑sale equipment.
