Sales Manager - Bahrain

About the role

Continental's Tires Group Sector sells multi-brand passenger light vehicle tires, truck tires and specialty tires across the MENA region, working closely with its partner network. This Sales Manager position covers the Bahrain market within the Tires RE EMEA business area.

Key responsibilities

• Sales strategy: help define and run the sales strategy, set and follow the importer's business, brand and channel plans, balance partner needs with Continental targets, implement the O.E. car dealer strategy and sell-out pricing guidelines, and prepare a 3-year business plan for retail and O.E. car dealers
• Sales operations: forecast and track sales development, analyse sales, cost and efficiency KPIs and market trends, monitor deliveries and the order book, track sell-out versus sell-in and coach partner sales teams
• Partnerships: activate new accounts, provide business consultancy, prepare and update commercial terms, and build long-term relationships with partners
• Communication: act as the interface to Continental, coordinate support functions and keep partners regularly informed
• Training: give product consultation, recommendations and presentations, and run product training for internal and external audiences, mainly on new products and launches

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree
• 3 years of sales experience
• 3 years of market experience
• Experience in the automotive industry, preferably in the tire industry
