Senior Audit & Assurance Professional – Bahrain

About the role

We are seeking a Senior professional to join Deloitte’s Audit & Assurance team in Bahrain. In this role you will lead audit engagements, build trusted relationships with clients and ensure delivery of high‑quality audit services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and adapt referral instructions, defining audit scope and focus areas.
• Liaise with on‑shore and off‑shore Centers of Excellence, coordinating tasks and ensuring accurate information flow.
• Track deliverables from component auditors and integrate risks, controls and findings across the engagement.
• Articulate audit quality milestones and monitor their completion to uphold audit standards.
• Prepare documentation that anticipates reviewer questions, clearly separating accounting and auditing judgments.
• Understand regulatory and risk‑management impacts on business processes and controls.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in audit and assurance, preferably within a large professional services firm.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret industry statistics and client expectations.
• Excellent communication skills to build credibility with stakeholders.
• Proactive attitude towards risk assessment and quality assurance.

• Knowledge of audit standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Proficiency in preparing audit documentation and quality reports.
