Electrician – Hotel Facilities

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join the facilities team of a leading hotel brand. The role involves installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems throughout the property while ensuring compliance with safety standards and local codes.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, and fixtures using hand and power tools.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair malfunctioning tools, equipment, and electrical components.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, and other components; use testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
• Plan layout and installation of wiring and fixtures according to job specifications, the National Electric Code, and local regulations.
• Read and follow blueprints and schematics.
• Respond to repair requests, perform preventative maintenance, and manage inventory of parts and supplies.
• Follow all company safety, security, and confidentiality policies; report hazards or incidents.

Required profile

• Technical, trade, or vocational school degree in electrical work.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with guests and colleagues.

Required skills

• Electrical wiring and circuit installation.
• Use of hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment (ohmmeter, voltmeter, oscilloscope).
• Interpretation of blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of the National Electric Code and local electrical codes.
• Troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of electrical systems.
