About the role

The Housekeeping Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of the resort's housekeeping department. The role combines strategic management with hands-on involvement to maintain impeccable cleanliness standards, enhance guest satisfaction and create an inviting atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the housekeeping team, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork and attention to detail.
• Oversee daily operations such as room cleaning, laundry and public area maintenance, ensuring adherence to established standards.
• Implement and maintain quality control measures to exceed cleanliness and hygiene benchmarks.
• Manage housekeeping supplies, equipment and inventory within budgetary constraints.
• Run regular training sessions covering best practices, safety protocols and customer service.
• Proactively address guest concerns related to housekeeping.
• Collaborate with other departments and communicate effectively with staff and guests.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven track record in housekeeping management, preferably in a resort; previous leadership experience required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills with staff, guests and other departments.
